Sometimes Life Gets In The Way

After a nice start to my little slice of the web, things have gotten a bit slow around here recently. I started a new job, a family member has been diagnosed with cancer and our wedding was brought forward so that we had the opportunity to spend the day surrounded by family. Despite everything happening with Covid-19, we were determined to have a magical day, so some things had to be reprioritised. Our special day was fantastic and we owe a lot to everyone involved.

Now that I have time to focus, there are updates incoming. In moments of free time I've been working on some key upgrades to improve the site and make it easier for me to write more content in future.

Expect to see several improvements, including:

• Theme toggling. Too dark to read during the day? Change to the light theme!
• Better vertical rhythm for easier reading.
• Accessibility improvements.
• More content!

When I started this blog my aim was to use it as a kind of online notebook. I am going to continue filling it with notes, no matter how big or small.
